什麼時候用
through 的空間意義是「穿過內部」——一定要有進去再出來的感覺（through the tunnel）；跟 across（走過表面）的差別在這裡，不是距離長短。時間上美式的 Monday through Friday 是「週一到週五，含週五」。
常見錯誤
- through the forest（鑽過林子裡）／across the field（走過田的表面）——判斷依據是有沒有進入內部。
- through 表示期間時包含結尾那天，to 則可能不含。
- throughout 是「遍及、整個期間」，範圍比 through 更大。
- go through 是「經歷（困難）」，be through with sth 是「做完了」，兩個都是比喻用法。
