什麼時候用
across 是「從一邊到另一邊的表面」，through 是「穿過內部」。中文都說「穿過」，英文看的是走在表面還是鑽進裡面：across the road（走過馬路面）／through the forest（鑽過森林裡）。
常見錯誤
- across the river（渡到對岸）／through the tunnel（穿過隧道內部）——判斷依據是有沒有進到裡面。
- across from 是「在…對面」，等於 opposite。
- come across something 是「偶然遇到」，跟空間無關。
