什麼時候用
over 有三組常用意義：空間上的「越過、在正上方」（jump over the fence）、數量上的「超過」（over 100）、時間上的「在……期間」（over the weekend）。跟 above 的差別是 over 帶有覆蓋或跨越的動作感，above 只是位置較高。
常見錯誤
- over 100 是「超過 100」，不含 100。
- over the weekend（整個週末期間）跟 on the weekend（週末的某個時間點）不同。
- above 不含跨越的動作：jump over the fence 不能寫成 jump above。
- be over 是「結束了」，get over sth 是「（從病痛或打擊）恢復」。
