什麼時候用
contest 當名詞是「比賽」，當動詞是「質疑、爭奪」。跟 context（上下文）只差一個字母，是考卷上最常被看錯的一組。
常見錯誤
- 名詞重音在前（CON-test），動詞在後（con-TEST）。
- contest the result 是「對結果提出異議」，不是「參加比賽」。
- 參加比賽是 enter／take part in a contest。
