along 是「沿著（一條線）」——路、河、海岸。它強調的是跟著某個延伸的東西移動，跟 across（橫越）方向剛好垂直。
常見錯誤
- walk along the river（沿河走）／walk across the river（渡河）——方向完全不同。
- along with 是「連同、和…一起」，不表示空間。
- get along with somebody 是「跟某人相處融洽」。
