什麼時候用
against 有兩個常用意思：「反對」與「倚靠、抵著」。第二個意思容易被忽略：lean against the wall 是「靠在牆上」，跟反對無關。
常見錯誤
- against 表示「反對」時不能加 to：be against the plan，不是 against to。
- protect against 與 protect from 都成立，前者偏「防範風險」。
- against the law 是「違法」，不是「反對法律」。
