學完你會：會說「一本書」「三本書」，也會問和回答「有幾個？」。
中文說「一本書、三本書」，書都一樣。英文不一樣：一個前面放 a，很多個後面要加 s。字的第一個音是 a、e、i、o、u 的音（像 egg、apple），前面用 an 不用 a。
I have a book.我有一本書。
I have three books.我有三本書。
I have an egg.我有一顆蛋。
I have two eggs.我有兩顆蛋。

特別的字先背這三個就好：child → children、man → men、foot → feet。
問「有幾個」用 How many，後面的東西要加 s。回答直接說數字，東西一樣要加 s（只有一個就不用）。
How many cats do you have? I have two cats.你有幾隻貓？我有兩隻貓。
How many boxes? Four boxes.有幾個箱子？四個。
How many dogs? One dog.有幾隻狗？一隻。
考卷常考「看圖數數量，選正確的字」，例如 two cat / two cats；也常考 a 和 an、s 和 es 的選擇，還有 How many…? 的問答配對。
