這個、那個、這些、那些This, That, These, Those

近的用 this，遠的用 that

東西在你旁邊，伸手就拿得到，用 this（這個）。東西在遠遠的地方，要用手指過去，用 that（那個）。一個東西後面配 is。

• This is my pen.這是我的筆。

• That is a bird.那是一隻鳥。

• This is a big book.這是一本大書。

一個和很多個

these、those 後面的東西要加 s：these books、those birds。

這是什麼？What's this?

不知道是什麼東西，就問 What's this?（近的）或 What's that?（遠的）。回答的時候不用再說 this 或 that，直接說 It's a…。很多個就問 What are these? 回答 They are…。

• What's this? It's a pencil.這是什麼？這是一枝鉛筆。

• What's that? It's a flower.那是什麼？那是一朵花。

• What are these? They are eggs.這些是什麼？這些是蛋。
