什麼時候用
win 的受詞是比賽或獎項，beat 的受詞是對手。中文都說「贏」，英文要看你贏的是什麼。
常見錯誤
- win the game（贏得比賽）／beat the other team（打敗對手）——受詞不能互換。
- beat somebody by two points 是「以兩分之差獲勝」，win 也可以用 by。
- 三態是 win-won-won，beat 是 beat-beat-beaten。
