什麼時候用
success 是名詞、successful 是形容詞、succeed 是動詞、successfully 是副詞。這一組四個詞性的考題年年出現，判斷方法是看空格前後：所有格或冠詞後面接名詞，be 動詞後面接形容詞。
常見錯誤
- success 當「成就」時不可數，當「成功的人事物」時可數：The show was a success。
- 「成功做到某事」是 succeed in doing，不是 success in doing。
- successive 是「連續的」，跟 successful 沒有關係——這兩個常在同一題出現。
