什麼時候用
would rather A than B 是固定句型，A 與 B 都用原形動詞。rather 單獨用是「相當地」，rather than 是「而不是」。
常見錯誤
- would rather go than wait，兩邊都是原形，不加 to。
- would rather 的過去式不是 would rathered，而是 would rather have + 過去分詞。
- prefer A to B 與 would rather A than B 是兩套結構，不能混寫成 would prefer A than B。
