proceed

什麼時候用

proceed 是「繼續進行、接著做」，跟 precede（在…之前）拼字很像但意思相反。proceed 的介系詞是 with 或 to。

常見錯誤

• 1proceed（繼續）與 precede（先於）只差字母順序，意思相反。
• 2proceed with the plan（繼續進行）／proceed to the next step（接著到下一步）。
• 3名詞 proceeds（複數）是「收益」，跟動詞的意思無關。
