什麼時候用
indicate 是「顯示、表明」，學術寫作裡用來引述數據或研究結果。主詞通常是事物（研究、數據、跡象），不是人。
常見錯誤
- indicate 後面接 that 子句或名詞，不接不定詞。
- 主詞用人會不自然：不說 I indicate that，說 I argue／suggest that。
- 跟 imply 的差別：indicate 是明確顯示，imply 是暗示。
