什麼時候用
cheap 指「價格低」，但用來形容人或行為時是「小氣、廉價」，帶貶意。想中性地說「便宜」可以用 inexpensive 或 low-priced。
常見錯誤
- 說某人 cheap 是在說他小氣，不是說他便宜。
- 價格本身不能用 cheap 形容：The price is cheap 不自然，要說 The price is low。
- 反義是 expensive；比較級是 cheaper，不是 more cheap。
