什麼時候用
certain 有兩個常用意思：「確定的」與「某些（不特指的）」。第二個意思常被忽略：certain people 是「某些人」而不是「確定的人」。
常見錯誤
- a certain amount of 是「一定程度的」，語氣其實是「有一些但不多」。
- be certain of／about + 名詞，be certain that + 子句。
- make certain 等於 make sure。
