什麼時候用
avoid 後面接動名詞，不接不定詞。它跟 prevent 的差別在於主詞：avoid 是自己躲開，prevent 是阻止別的事發生。
常見錯誤
- avoid doing，不是 avoid to do。
- prevent somebody from doing 才有 from；avoid 直接接動名詞不加介系詞。
- 「避免遲到」是 avoid being late，不是 avoid to be late。
