Which Pet?

Mom says we can have a pet. My sister Lulu wants a dog. "Dogs are good friends! They can play ball with us," she says.

I want a cat. "Cats are cute and quiet. They can sleep on my bed," I say. Lulu and I talk and talk. We can not decide.

At dinner, my father comes home with a small box. In the box is a little green turtle! It can not play ball, and it can not sleep on my bed. But it is cute, and it is slow, just like my father in the morning!
