by School Paper Team · Oct 2026

Mandy Chou, Class 811: "I prefer paper books. I spend hours on screens every day for school, and my eyes often feel tired and dry. Holding a real book helps me relax. I can feel the pages and smell the paper. It's also easier to on a paper book. When I read on a tablet, messages keep popping up, and I always end up checking my phone. Also, a paper book never runs out of . You can give it to a friend, or write notes in it. My favorite books sit on my shelf like old friends."
Both students make good points. Maybe the library can buy some of each kind. What do you think? Please leave your ideas in the box at the library front desk before Friday.
