Have you ever wanted to make your own game? Have you ever wondered about the robots that you see in movies? This summer, turn your ideas into real things at the Bright Path Summer Coding Camp! No computer are needed. If you can use a phone, you can join us.
Our camp has been held every summer since 2019, and more than 800 students have taken part. It is taught by college students who study computer science in Taichung. In the first week, you will learn the basics of coding with fun games and puzzles. In the second week, you will work in a team and build a small robot which can follow a line on the floor. At the end of the camp, every team will show its to families and friends. The best three teams will be given prizes!
Here are some words from past campers. "I was afraid of computers before, but now I have made three games of my own," says Kevin, 14. Amy, 13, says, "It was the most summer of my life. I have also made friends who love the same things as me."
Dates: July 7 to July 18, Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Place: Bright Path Learning Center, our new computer on the 3rd floor, a five-minute walk from Taichung Train Station.
