Lunch Helper Day

At twelve, it is lunch time at my school. In Taiwan, many schools do not have a cafeteria. We eat lunch in our classroom.

Today I am a lunch helper. I wear a white hat and an apron. I put rice, chicken, and vegetables on the plates.

My friend Ben does not like carrots. "No carrots, please," he says. But our teacher is next to me. "Some carrots, please," she says with a smile. Poor Ben! He eats all the carrots. Then he says, "Hmm, they are not bad!"
