Join the Hiking Club!

Are you tired of sitting in front of a screen every Saturday and Sunday? Do you want to make new friends and see the most beautiful places in Taiwan? Then come and join the Green Hill Junior High Hiking Club!
Our first trip this year is to Yangmingshan on Saturday, November 8. We will meet at the school gate at 7:30 a.m. and take the bus to the mountain. The trail is about five km long, so it is good for beginners. If the weather is clear, you can see the whole city from the top. After the hike, we are going to enjoy hot noodles at a small shop near the bus stop.
Before you sign up, please read these rules. Hiking is fun, but always comes first. Wear shoes, and do not wear new shoes on a long walk. Bring a raincoat, because the weather on the mountain can change . Bring at least one liter of water and some snacks, and put on on cloudy days, too. Stay with your group and never walk . Last, take your home with you. Let's keep the mountain clean!
The trip costs NT$150 for the bus. Students in grades 7 to 9 are welcome, and you do not need to be a strong hiker. To join, write your name and class on the form outside Room 204 before November 1. We only have space for 30 students, so do not wait too long.
